How to change the logo in an email template

The simplest way to change the logo in a HubSpot email template, especially if you are using the drag-and-drop editor, is usually to treat it like any other image module within the email.

Here's a general process:

  1. Navigate to your email: In your HubSpot account, go to Marketing > Email, and click on the name of the email draft or template you want to edit.1

  2. Locate the Logo Module: In the email editor, click on the logo image in the template preview area.

  3. Edit the Image:

    • Once you click the logo, the editing options will usually appear in the left sidebar.

    • Look for an option like "Replace" or the image selection field.2

    • Click on it to open your File Manager (or upload tool).

  4. Select or Upload the New Logo:

    • Choose your new logo image from your existing files.3

    • Alternatively, click "Upload" to add a new logo image from your computer.4

  5. Adjust Settings (Optional):

    • In the sidebar, you can typically set the image width and height to control its size in the email.5

    • Ensure the "Alt text" is descriptive for accessibility.6

    • Add a "Link" so the logo is clickable (usually linking to your website's homepage).

  6. Save/Publish: Finish editing the email and then "Update" or "Publish" your changes.7

Changing the Default Logo (Applies to some templates)

If your template uses a Global Logo Module or pulls from your Brand Kit, changing the default company logo in your settings might update it automatically in some templates.

  1. Go to Brand Settings: In your HubSpot account, navigate to the Settings icon $\rightarrow$ Content $\rightarrow$ Brand (or Website $\rightarrow$ Pages $\rightarrow$ Branding in older versions).

  2. Edit Logos: Find the Logos section in the Brand Kit and update your default logo.8

Note: Changing the default only affects templates configured to use the default brand logo. For an individual email template, the method of clicking and replacing the image module is the most direct way.
